No advertising pixels. No tracking. No cookies of ours at all. This page explains the little the site does store, and why you were never shown a consent banner.

01The short version
This website sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking cookies of any kind. There is nothing here to opt out of, which is why you were not shown a consent banner on arrival.
The rest of this page explains that claim properly, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
03The one exception: the enquiry form
The contact form runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check to confirm a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. That check loads a script from Cloudflare and may set storage strictly necessary to perform the verification and to prevent abuse.
It runs only on the contact page, only when the form is present, and only for the purpose of that check. It is not used to profile you, is not shared with us as an identifier, and is not linked to your browsing anywhere else.
Under the ePrivacy rules that apply in the UK and EU, storage strictly necessary to provide a service the user has requested — here, submitting a form that works — does not require prior consent. That is the basis on which it runs without a banner.
04VERIS, our AI assistant
VERIS sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. The only traces it leaves are the two session flags listed above, which keep it from greeting you over and over, and which vanish with the tab.
Your conversation itself is not stored anywhere by us, in your browser or on our servers. The Privacy Policy explains where your words go while VERIS is answering.
05Hosting and delivery
The site is served by Vercel and delivered through Cloudflare. As with any host, that infrastructure processes the technical information needed to route and deliver a request — your IP address, the page requested, and your browser’s user agent — and may use operational cookies for load balancing or security.
Cloudflare also serves its own Web Analytics script on the live domain. It counts page views and page speed. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser, and gives us no identifier, so there is nothing in it that could recognise you on a second visit or follow you to another site. It tells us how many people read a page, not who they were.
Beyond that, we do not receive a report about you, and we do not query anything to find out who visited what.
06What is deliberately absent
For the avoidance of doubt, this site loads none of the following:
- Google Analytics, or any other analytics platform that identifies visitors or follows them between sites. The cookieless page count described above is the only measurement here.
- Advertising or retargeting pixels, including Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and X.
- Session recording, heatmap, or scroll-tracking tools.
- Social media embeds, share widgets, or comment systems.
- Third-party chat widgets and marketing automation. VERIS is our own, it loads from this domain, and it is covered above.
- A/B testing or personalisation platforms.
Fonts are self-hosted from this domain rather than loaded from a font CDN, so reading a page makes no request to a third party at all.
07Controlling storage yourself
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies and site storage, usually under privacy or site settings. Blocking storage for this domain will not break browsing.
Blocking Cloudflare may prevent the bot check from completing, in which case the enquiry form will not submit. If that happens, that is why.
08If this changes
If we ever introduce analytics or any non-essential storage, this page will be updated before it goes live, and a consent mechanism will be in place first — meaning nothing non-essential loads until you have actively agreed to it.
We will not switch on tracking and describe it afterwards as an improvement to your experience.
Questions
A question about this policy, or a request under it, goes to the same place as everything else.
